Paul Major, CEO, Program Framework says “Silence Fails – especially in projects!”
Research undertaken with 1000 executives and project management professionals across 40 companies by VitalSmarts™, shows that failure by project team members to speak up on key project issues can lead to project failure in up to 85% of instances.
With behaviours ranging from “Fact-Free Planning” (deadlines set with no regard to reality) to Project Chicken (waiting for someone else to admit there is a problem with this project) prevalent in most organisations, the success of a project may be far more heavily dependent on our ability to communicate effectively than we initially realised.
Join in with this session and discuss how we can deal with silence and equip our project teams with the behaviours necessary to ensure success.
