Agile Project Management Qualification now available in Australia
24 March 2011 Canberra, Australia… The field of Agile Project Management has been strengthened in Australia with accredited training for APMG-International’s Agile Project Management qualification now available.
The X-Pert Group Australia is the first organisation to be accredited by APMG-Australasia to train in this methodology. The Agile Project Management qualification addresses the needs of those working in a project-focussed environment who want to be Agile.
This new qualification provides the ability to deliver Agile Projects in organisations requiring standards, rigour and visibility around project management, while at the same time enabling the fast pace, change and empowerment provided by Agile.
An important element of the course is clarifying how the Agile Project Management qualification integrates with the PRINCE2® methodology. As many organisations throughout Australia and the region are using PRINCE2, this will be a critical skill for project managers using the Agile approach.
The qualification is only available through training organisations accredited with APMG-Australasia in Agile Project Management. It is anticipated that further Accredited Training Organisations will be able to train the Agile Project Management approach in the near future.
