Management of Portfolio training has now commenced in New Zealand
22 December 2011 Canberra, Australia... The discipline of Portfolio Management has been strengthened in New Zealand, as accredited training in the Management of Portfolio (MoP™) discipline, has now commenced through the ILX Group.
MoP is a very valuable methodology in the current business and government environment as it helps organisations to answer the fundamental questions 'Are we sure this investment is right for us, how will it contribute to our strategic objectives and are we realising all the benefits from the changes we are implementing?'.
The MoP methodology answers these questions by teaching how to successfully implement portfolio management, how to sustain it and ultimately reap the benefits. MoP is owned by the Cabinet Office in the United Kingdom, and training organisations are accredited by APMG-Australasia to provide training in this methodology. MoP is a part of the Best Management Practice suite which includes PRINCE2®, a de facto world standard in project management and MSP®, the Managing Successful Programmes methodology.
