Madrid, 6th June 2011... Spanish IT professionals will be the first in the world to earn the CMDB (Configuration Management DataBase), a new accreditation which is crucial for the correct function of IT infrastructure and services in any company or organization.

Tecnofor, School of Management and Technology, has become the first company worldwide to be officially recognized by APMG International to train in this new essential standard for understanding, monitoring and controlling the key elements of IT services in an ITIL context.

Chiara Mainolfi, APMG, responsible for Spain and Italy said, "APMG believes this is an important milestone that Tecnofor has become the first school in the world to achieve the CMDB accreditation because it is a critical factor in reducing incidents and proactively preventing interruption of IT services. It is a key component in creating a proactive approach towards the management of services. Tecnofor has the capacity, knowledge and professionalism to offer high quality training and we are sure that many candidates will benefit from attending their CMDB courses."

According to Marlon Molina, Director General of Tecnofor, "Achieving such recognition before countries such as the U.S.A, UK and Germany, shows that Spain has great professionals and the capacity to be a leader in this area. Tecnofor once again offers the opportunity for professionals in this sector to be the first to export ITIL, ISO20000 and ISO27000 services, based on world class standards."

To explain the details and importance of this new standard, Tecnofor will be celebrating a CMDB National Congress of Knowledge from 27-30 June 2011 in Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia along with Spanish leaders in ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27000 and the major solutions manufacturers.
