In 2003 the Chartered Management Institute in the UK launched a new award: Chartered Manager. The award recognizes a truly professional manager, those who have demonstrated the positive impact of their contribution at work and who are actively engaged in improving their performance, knowledge and skills. It is a unique designation exclusively assessed and awarded by the Chartered Management Institute.
