PMD Pro Qualification Scheme Structure
PMD Pro Level 1 is a contextualized examination intended as an introduction to those new to project management, but will also serve as a refresher to those more experienced in the field. In addition to traditional project management processes, tools and techniques, it covers components specific to the development sector. Level 1 was launched in April 2010.
PMD Pro Level 2 is made up of an internationally-recognized, entry-level project management certification (Certified Associate of Project Management, IPMA Level D or PRINCE2® Foundation), plus the level 2 contextualized exam covering components specific to the development sector in greater detail.
A third level (PMD Pro Level 3) is still to be developed. This level will be designed for more experienced project managers in the development sector, responsible for projects with greater budgets, complexities and risks.
