Further Information on PMD Pro
This certification has been developed with the intention of being as accessible and affordable as possible, irrespective of geographical location. Project Management for NGOs has developed some basic training materials for the contextualised components of the certification curriculum which can be delivered online (in a virtual classroom) or face to face. Options to access these resources will increase as the certification scheme gains momentum. Reputable training providers will be encouraged to offer options to assist candidates to prepare for the examination. The certification includes other internationally-recognised certification schemes, and candidates can choose which of several schemes to engage with, which will increase accessibility.

Webinars
PM4NGOs hosted a webinar to explore a proposed contextualized certification for project managers in the international development sector. The proposed PMD Pro (Project Management in Development Professional) certification was first introduced at the Project Management Summits in London and Washington DC in September.
The webinar begins with a current state analysis of project management in the international development sector and continues with a presentation of the three-level PMD Pro certification sequence. PMD Pro Virtual Launch
In May, PM4NGOs, LINGOs and APMG-International co-hosted two on-line events to launch the PMD Pro certification. The events took place using the Elluminate on-line meeting platform and occured on:
